Oven-Roasted Chickpeas

For busy days when you need a quick and healthy snack, these Oven-Roasted Chickpeas are the perfect solution. Packed with your favorite spices and a satisfying crunch, they make for a delicious and nutritious on-the-go treat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas

  • A mix of your favorite spices (I use chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper)

  • A few drops of olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Prepare the chickpeas by rinsing and draining them.

STEP 2: In a bowl, mix your choice of spices (I recommend chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper) with a few drops of olive oil.

STEP 3: Add the chickpeas to the spice and oil mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

STEP 4: Transfer the seasoned chickpeas onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

STEP 5: Roast in a preheated oven at 220ยฐC (430ยฐF) for about 30 minutes or until they turn crispy and golden brown. Be sure to shake the baking sheet occasionally for even roasting.

Remove from the oven, allow them to cool, and enjoy your crispy roasted chickpea snack. You can pack them in a bag or small container to take with you on the go!
