Cut broccoli into florets, wash, and quarter larger pieces.
Peel and finely grate garlic. Clean and slice mushrooms.
Peel, halve, and slice the onion.
Clean chicken breasts, cut into 2cm pieces, coat with flour, and set aside.
Mix the remaining flour with chicken broth, soy sauce, grated garlic, ginger, honey, and sesame oil (if using).
Heat oil in a wok, add coated chicken, stir-fry until golden brown, then remove and keep warm.
Add more oil to the wok, stir-fry broccoli, onion, and mushrooms until slightly tender.
Pour the sauce over the vegetables, bring to a boil, and let it thicken for 2 minutes.
Return the cooked chicken to the wok, stir well, and cook for an additional minute.
