Spooky Banana Ghosts

Spooky Banana Ghosts are a simple, no-bake Halloween treat made by dipping ripe banana halves in white chocolate and adding mini chocolate chip eyes for a delightful and healthy spooky snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • Ripe bananas

  • White chocolate chips or yogurt chips

  • Mini chocolate chips

  • Popsicle sticks or skewers (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Start by peeling the ripe bananas and cutting them in half.

STEP 2: If you're using popsicle sticks or skewers, insert one into the cut end of each banana half, creating a banana "ghost on a stick."

STEP 3: Melt the white chocolate chips or yogurt chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Be careful not to overheat.

STEP 4: Using a spoon or a fork, dip each banana half into the melted white chocolate, covering it completely. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

STEP 5: While the white chocolate is still wet, place two mini chocolate chips as eyes on each banana half to create the "ghost" face.

STEP 6: Place the banana ghosts on a parchment paper-lined tray or plate and put them in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes to allow the white chocolate to set.
